2022 Down East Lobster Roll Competition

Do you make Maine’s greatest lobster roll? Down East invites you to participate in our 2022 Lobster Roll Competition!

The Down East Lobster Roll Competition is a summer marketing promotion for lobster rolls made in Maine. Participating vendors receive advertising in Down East magazine, on downeast.com, in our email newsletters, on social media, and more!

That’s a combined audience of 650,000 people every month of the promotion.

Down East readers and fans are asked to sample rolls from as many vendors as they like and vote for their favorite online. If your customers already know your roll is their favorite, you can ask them to vote!

The vendor entry phase runs from February 1 to May 31. The competition promotion and voting period runs from June 1 to July 17. Winning lobster roll vendors will be awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Contest terms and conditions below. The entry fee is $500, and the marketing value begins at $1,200!

Poster to hang at your business promoting your participation in the competition and inviting customers to vote for you.
Custom logo to display on your website to drive potential voters to the voting page.

DOWN EAST LOBSTER ROLL COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Down East Enterprise, Inc. and its subsidiaries, herein known as “LRC” reserves the sole right, at any time, without recourse, to determine, interpret, or change the rules of the Down East Lobster Roll Contest (“Contest”). LRC reserves the sole right to determine the applying organization’s (“Contestant”) eligibility or lack thereof to participate in the Contest, to cancel or reschedule the Contest and to pick the Contest Winner. All LRC decisions are final. By entering the Contest, the Contestant agrees to abide by all contest rules. Contestant agrees to assume all responsibility for any matter arising from their participation in the Contest and agrees to hold LRC harmless. LRC reserves the sole right to deny or expel a Contestant for any reason. LRC disclaims all warranties, whether expressed or implied, and makes no warrantee with respect to the software, services, website or Contest performing as promised. You understand and agree that you are making use of the LRC and its third-party websites and services on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis. LRC makes no warranty with respect to the software, services, site, any tickets, performing as promised. LRC disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied or merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. The Contestant agrees that LRC can use their trademarks, service marks, and image at any time, without prior authorization or compensation, for non-commercial purposes including but not limited to the promotion of the Down East Lobster Roll Competition. The Contestant agrees that any dispute with LRC, or any of their affiliates, shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration, except you may assert your claim in small claims court provided the matter remains in such court. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Maine.
