When you visit a popular coastal tourist town during the middle of winter the vibe is totally different than July. Most slips sit as vacant as the parking spaces do. You’ll see the occasional local drive by or walk past, but aside from that, it’s complete desolation. A few of the seaside businesses have their lights on and open signs visible, but most are in hibernation mode until tourist season begins again. Even though Boothbay Harbor sat empty of the typical summer watercraft, I still enjoyed grabbing some aerials of this sleepy town’s waterfront. Only a few more months until this, and other harbors begin to waken again to greet their visitors.
