I woke up WAY to early, 2:07 a.m. to be exact, for this shot at Marginal Way in Ogunquit. Daylight Savings Time and that darn Summer Solstice are a killer!
After yesterday’s storms, I had hoped we would have had a more interesting sky this morning. However, except for the fog, it was a bluebird morning in Ogunquit. I did notice on the drive back north that the clouds may have presented more of what I was looking for. Such is life!
The sun lines up perfectly this time of the year for this shot and the rocks and coastline are so quintessentially Maine. What you don’t get from this image is the crackling of the rocks against each other as each waves recede. I love hearing that sound.
