Raspberries

Peaches

Strawberries

You can’t miss the entrance to 106-year-old McElwain’s Farm — it’s marked by a giant sculpture of a strawberry. Late June–July. 693 Sweden St., Caribou. 207-498-8276. mcelwainstrawberryfarm.com

Vegetables & Herbs

Pick some fresh veggies at Nezinscot Farm, then grab lunch at the farm café. Pick-your-own starts late June, but the farm is open year-round. 284 Turner Center Rd., Turner. 207-225-3231. nezinscotfarm.com

Wild Blueberries

Visit Beddington Ridge Farm to harvest the official state fruit with a hand-held rake and a little elbow grease. Late July–August. 1951 Rte. 193, Beddington. 207-638-2664. beddingtonridgefarm.com
