Salt Stories: "Crash Test Worthy"
Ten groups of Salt Institute for Documentary Studies students visited the Oxford County Fair in Oxford, Maine and each found their own story to tell. Part 5 looks at the gatekeepers of the demolition derby — the car inspectors.
"Before entering the demolition derby competition, each car must be inspected. At the Oxford County Fair Kevin Bishop and his team make sure all the cars follow safety regulations. This piece looks at the inspection team as they get ready for a night of big crashes." — Producers Katie Ricciardi and Sofia Saldanha
