The Georgetown Working League is holding their 100th annual fair in 2013. Quilt raffle, handmade items,collectibles, homemade baked goods, art, crafts, books, jewelry, white elephants, childrens activities, lunch. All proceeds benefit the town.

USM faculty members violinist Ronald Lantz and pianist Laura Kargul will perform a program of romantic music featuring Sonata for Violin and Piano by Jacques de la Presle. This gorgeous masterpiece from 1913 exemplifies the full flowering of the French romantic tradition. When Lantz and Kargul established their duo collaboration in 2010, the Journal Tribune wrote, "They gave the audience an unforgettable concert, one that provided sincere as well as passionate music making, a marvelous mix of intellect and musicianship of the highest order."
