Culling material from her days in NYC, her Match.com marriage, to her abrupt and shocking transplant to Maine, Erin Donovan finds humor in just about every aspect of middle-aged life. From having sex after children, to living in sweatpants, this performance is guaranteed to make you laugh not only at Erin but at your own plight as well.

The Everyman Repertory Theatre, midcoast Maine’s professional theatre company, will present The Eight: Reindeer Monologues – a dark, dark Christmas comedy by Jeff Goode. This play geared towards adults opens a window into the North Pole where, despite what the carols say, all is not well. Accusations of sexual harassment against St. Nick are placing The Eight— Santa’s famed reindeer team — under the spotlight in a hilarious and revelation-filled evening.

Life Cycles is a series of six short comedies about human life. These short plays will be presented at Eastport Arts Center, 36 Washington St., Eastport, ME. There will be plenty of room in the 106 seat theatre on the second floor of the center. The second show will conclude in plenty of time for people to get downtown for the Maple Drop at 11:00pm, EST, and then the Sardine Drop at midnight.
