During Taste of Bar Harbor's Chef's Table Dinners four exclusive restaurants will be hosting seven-course dinner and pairings along with chef-led tours, demonstrations, and sneak peeks at their favorite recipes.

The Taste of Bar Harbor kicks off with a pub tour, sponsored by Atlantic Brewing Company. Local restaurants will be offering up samples of their favorite beers and wines. Commemorative beer glasses, wrist bands, and sample tickets will be sold at the Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce.

Taste of Bar Harbor highlights the diverse local restaurants and culinary styles of this quaint coastal town. During the week, participating Bar Harbor eateries will be hosting wine and beer tastings, cooking demonstrations, cooking classes, and special menus for $20.

Maine Restaurant Week's 2012 opening night Signature Event celebrates the statewide restaurant community. This year, ten of Maine's top bartenders and dessert makers converge and vie for the title of People's Favorite. Attendees will be able to try each cocktail and food entry and cast a vote.
