Five River Arts Alliance presents its sixteenth annual Family Arts Festival on the Brunswick Mall. For the first time, the Five Rivers will join forces with Cornerstones of Science to energize the Festival as the Family Arts & Science by merging the flow of imagination and knowledge. The festival features artists offering workshops and demonstrations related to the appreciation and concern for nature and the stars.

The fifteenth annual Harvest Fest & Chowdah Cook-off is an old-fashioned, fun, fall festival with more than thirty-five arts & crafts vendors, chowdah cook-off, apple pie contest, baked potato booth, drift boat championship, two-fly contest, demonstrations, live entertainment, historical exhibits, hiking, biking, canoeing/kayaking, food, and self-guided bike tours.

This classic agricultural fair is nestled among the rolling hills and beautiful farmlands in Union. Traditional farm competitions include an antique tractor, steer, and oxen pulls; poultry, dairy and goat shows; pig scrambles; a steer and ox twitch; a sheep obstacle course; and other animal demonstrations.
