Down East 2013 ©
This great Gardens tradition has expanded so that it will now be in both the Visitor Center and Bosarge Family Education Center. More than two dozen new and returning vendors (list below) will offer their finest wares, all of the highest quality, and all made in Maine! Browse their displays while enjoying holiday music, refreshments, a cheery fire in the Saxon Fireplace, and decorations as only the Gardens can do them.
The Gardens Gift Shop will be open, too, with a wide array of wonderful gifts, special markdowns, and even a table with items on sale for $5 and less. Fairy House Handbook signing and fairy house kits will be on hand.
NEW! This year, Kris Kringle will be at the Market, reading Christmas tales and talking to children. Kids will enjoy many of the vendors, too. Don Carrigan of WCSH will be on hand to sign and talk about the book Togus: A Coon Cat Comes Home.
There is no charge for admission to this festive event. The Christmas Market is a perfect way to have fun and get in the holiday spirit while finding unique, reasonably priced gifts for everyone on your list!
