Good ThingsMaine's best-known summer resident, Martha Stewart, will serve as honorary chair at the Maine Antique Dealers Association's first ever Antiques in the Garden show at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay. Upwards of forty-five exhibitors will sell antiques such as folk art, country primitives, decoys, stoneware, fine botanical books, prints, art, sterling silver, jewelry, and much more. Look for Martha at the preview party the night before. July 17, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. The preview party on July 16 costs $45-$100. Tickets day of event $15. Counting LooniesAnd no, we don't mean the Canadian currency. Join Maine Audubon in its twenty-fifth annual Loon Count. From more than three hundred lakes across the state, volunteers spot Maine's favorite water bird to gather an estimate of the loon population. The count happens rain or shine. July 19.
