Maine Attributes: I could not believe what I saw in the February issue concerning Maine's Top Dog. What I saw was a politician's dog: small in stature and nothing but fluff! I have sent you a picture of Heidi - a Real Maine Dog. Why you may ask? Just look! She is a typical St. Bernard:
1.) Her size and strength makes her ideally suited to be a Mainer - hardworking and durable!
2.) She is rough around the edges but carries herself well - a true diamond in the rough!
3.) She is as stubborn as the day is long - doesn't give up in the face of adversity!
4.) She loves to eat - who doesn't!
5.) Her heart fits her size - although intimidating in size, she is a true friend and loves to be around people (a real Gentle Giant!)
I could go on, but for the sake of time and space will leave it at this: Heidi has the size, the heart, the will and the drive to be the way Maine should be!
