The Mt. On July 31, the Shanghai Quartet performs a concert with Todd Crow to include the rarely heard Piano Quintet by the late nineteenth, early twentieth-century American composer Arthur Foote. The August 7 program will feature the return of the celebrated soprano Dominique Labelle performing Ravel and Rossini. She will be joined by guest artists violinist Stephanie Chase, violist Dov Scheindlin, cellist Mark Shuman, and flutist Mindy Kaufman. The Brentano String Quartet returns to perform on August 14, and the season closes on August 21 with the Daedalus Quartet in a program to include Dvořák's grand E-flat major String Quintet with guest violist Nokuthula Ngwenyama.
