Bad Bad World

Back in September, the band Guster held a contest asking fans to create the official music video for their song Bad Bad World. The first time I heard that song, I knew immediately what I wanted to do. The people of Portland have always struck me as an overall open and caring bunch, so I wanted to showcase their generosity as part of my submission. What surprised me the most was not only the generosity of the people whom I posed the question to, but the vendors as well. Otto's Pizza ended up doubling our order for free after learning about our cause, and Sawyer & Company refused to take the money, even though our total flower purchase was over $10. I was happily surprised by just how helpful and caring the citizens of Portland really are. Apparently so did Guster, because in October it was announced that my submission was the winner of the contest.
