Portland Weighs Noncitizen Voting

The Portland City Council has agreed to put a question on noncitizen voting rights in local electionsl on the November.

Supporters say that granting immigrants voting rights would allow them to better participate in the city's civic life. Opponents want the right reserved for U.S. citizens.
