The perfect followup to the Cob Oven Building Workshop! Lunch is included in the workshop fee. Learn how to use your cob oven to bake pizza, hearth loaves, and more!
Jesse Stevens has years of experience designing, building, and professionally baking with wood-fired ovens. He's built brick and cobb ovens across Maine, including commercially used ovens at restaurants and bakeries such as Bonobo, Fore St., Nezinscot Farm, and Pietree Orchard. Cob or earth ovens provide a great excuse to get good and dirty, and using local materials in the construction is especially satisfying. The range of foods that can be prepared is practically limitless- from pizza to hearth loaves, roasts, baked beans, smoked meats and vegetables. Even dehydrating is possible!
