Book Event: Glorious Slow Going
Starts: Dec 6 2012 - 7:00pm
Ends: Dec 6 2012 - 9:00pm
Since they first met and became friends in 1996, Marguerite Robichaux and Elizabeth Peavey have roamed and rambled the back roads of Maine together, documenting their adventures through Robichaux’s gorgeous oils and watercolors, and through Peavey’s vivid writing. But their images and words are more than illustrative; Robichaux and Peavey feel an obligation to chronicle and preserve some of our wild Maine places before they disappear. Join us as the two artists share some of their adventures, and capture the essence of these special Maine locales, in an evocative word-and-image presentation based on their new coffee-table book. A book sale and signing will follow--just in time for the holidays!
