Midcoast Music Fest - Jason Spooner Trio with The New Rangers: The Jason Spooner Trio brings together the talents of Jason Spooner on lead vocals and guitar, Adam Frederick on bass and vocals and Reed Chambers on drums. The Trio's unique blend of roots, blues, funk and folk has earned them accolades across the country and skyrocketing popularity. The New Rangers draws on the acoustic, country-rock roots that had been the original focus of the Round Pond Rangers, whose former members make up the core of the new group.

Midcoast Music Fest – at DRA’s Round Top Farm Darrows Barn. The events support the conservation and education work of the Damariscotta River Association. The Damariscotta River Association, a non-profit community-supported land trust has been working since 1973 to preserve and promote the natural, cultural, and historical heritage of the Damariscotta River region.
Three Thursdays in July: 12th - Jason Spooner Trio (with The New Rangers); 19th - David Mallett (with Anna & The Diggs); 26th - The Boneheads (with Bruce Hardina). Space is limited. The Darrows Barn offers superb acoustics as well as cover from rain and sun, while maintaining a strong connection to the outdoors. Huge barn doors backed by screening open wide to allow in cool evening air from the Damariscotta River while keeping out the bugs. No ordinary hay barn, performers and audiences from around the world seek out the Darrows Barn at Round Top for its exceptional acoustics and warm ambiance. Excellent and affordable food, wine, and local beer will be available a la carte at all performances, offered by three of Damariscotta’s favorite restaurants, along with fresh-shucked oysters from the Damariscotta River. Damariscotta River Grill will lead off with the Jason Spooner show on July 12, followed by The Newcastle Publick House for the David Mallett performance on July 19, and King Eider’s Pub on July 26 for The Boneheads.
