Carol's Collectibles is a small nursery specializing in rare and unusual plants that are not offered in local retail centers. Carol started her nursery in Connecticut in 1996 and moved to Swanvile last year. Many of her rhododendrons, dwarf conifers, and woody shrubs are propagated at the nursery and originate from older gardens in Connecticut and Massachusetts. This workshop will demonstrate and discuss simple methods for enthusiasts to try their hand at reproducing some of their favorite plants at home. Everyone is invited to bring a few"winter cuttings: these would include conifers, rhododendrons, ilex, boxwood, pieris, and other evergreens.
