The Georgetown Working League is holding their 100th annual fair in 2013. Quilt raffle, handmade items,collectibles, homemade baked goods, art, crafts, books, jewelry, white elephants, childrens activities, lunch. All proceeds benefit the town.

May Sarton would have celebrated her hundredth birthday this spring. A program to honor her has been deisigned to appeal to teachers and students, readers and writers, professors, and lay people who have been touched, or even changed by Sarton's vision of life as an artistic endeavor.

The beautiful seaside town of York will be the setting for a centennial symposium on the life and works of novelist, poet, and memoirist May Sarton, who lived in York for the last twenty-two years of her life.

As part of Bar Harbor's culinary celebration, Dessert Night features signature desserts from participating restaurants. Diners can vote on their favorite dessert, which will be announced as the Best Dessert. An array of creme brulees at Bar Harbor Inn, whoopie pie sundae and whoopie pie martini at Route 66, and a hazelnut raspberry blackwell tart from McKay's Public House are just some of the tasty treats being prepared. Other participating restaurants include Mache Bistro, Galyn's, Side Street Cafe, and Fiore Artisan Olive Oils and Vinegars.

This village-wide celebration features artist studio and gallery openings, exhibits and shows, workshops, lectures, historic tours, concerts, and more. Legacy Week highlights include an art walk through downtown Bar Harbor, a Father's Day performance by Flash in the Pans, a juried art show, a cooking class at Ambrosia Cooking School, an evening at ImprovAcadia, a plein air painting demonstration, ax throwing demonstrations at the Great Maine Lumberjack Show, and garden tours at the Mira Monte Inn.

The Greater Gardiner River Festival includes the Kavanaugh Carnival on the waterfront at 4 pm; Maine vendors selling festival foods; the Bilge Pumps rock band from 7-9 pm; and  fireworks from Central Maine Pyrotechnics after 9 p.m.
