This show centers at mission control for two advanced missions of deep space discovery. The program spans time from Galileo's Tuscan villa to the launch of an advance probe and back to the beginning of time. Beginning with a view of shining stars over Maine “Touching” looks at the Universe and exposes it better in many different light energies.

All nine planets, some of their moons, and minor members of the Solar System reveal fascinating spacescapes.
